Both use dbase in the past this has worked fine but since installing xp sp2 on 2 computers I cant have the 2 programs running at the same time on those 2 computers. Students Click Here Join Us! But when I install my application on other PC, that don’t have installed Delphi on it, I have trouble. I can run multiple instances of any of the applications without locking the driver. Any help is welcome. Still can’t get mine to work I still think this is pretty weird, since I can’t really believe you’d have to install Access to use an Access database. Find all posts by AceOmega. Register now while it’s still free! You can set the Shared Memory Location to 6e00 or Not sure if this will work, but if you think it is SP2 that is the problem then uminstall it. The first thing to make sure of is that you have the Oracle 8 client installed.
Both BDEs have same problem and they are run locally.
The way to fix a path issue is to right click on the file c: Is it an bde configuration error in my Delphi 7? Are you starting two instances of the same program or are you starting two different programs, both of dellhi use the BDE? While in the designer the data is live and functional.

But if it is fixed, then it’s great news: One obscure possibility is that the library in question requires the presence of some other DLL. I too received this error while trying to connect to an Access 97 database with Delphi 3. DLL, but I still get this error.
Does anyone have any idea about how I can resolve this problem? Similarly, BDE simply reports that it “cannot load” the driver. I can not go to Oracle 10 either. Lets hope the best.
Do I need to call TDataSet. We still have an Access-free PC left, so I’ll use that one for testing. My clients are going to install XP Ccannot and I don’t want to have to re-write hundreds of reports using some other means to access the dBase data.
Uninstalling SP2 is not an option as the systems will be going out to clients many of who probably already have sp2.
